DCP FOSUR 74 is a powerful acid cleaner based on phosphoric acid, designed to remove grout smears, cement haze, hard water stains, lime deposits, rust deposits, and efflorescence. It also serves as an etchant for concrete before applying sealers or coatings, with added cleaning agents for deep pene­tration to lift dirt, soil, and grease.

Applications

  • Removing Stains: Including grout haze, cement residue, efflorescence, rust stains, and mineral deposits.
  • Cleaning Surfaces: Effectively removes hard water stains, lime deposits, soap scum, and ground-in dirt and grime.
  • Etching Concrete: Prepares concrete for sealers or coatings.

Usage instructions

  • Protection: Wear rubber gloves and eye protection.
  • Test First: Test a small area and wait 24 hours to ensure desired results.
  • Pre-Wet: Pre-wet the surface before applying the cleaner, except before etching.
  • Dilution: Depending on the cleaning task, dilute the cleaner up to 0.5% or use in pure form.
  • Application: Apply the solution, allow it to sit for 2-5 minutes, and agitate with a hard brush or scrub pad to loosen stains. Do not let the solution dry on the surface.
  • Removal: Use a clean mop or wet vac to remove the solution, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.
  • Neutralize: Before applying any sealer or coating, neutralize the surface with DCP Biomex HDI and let it dry thoroughly.
  • Dilution instructions:
    According to degree of pollution, allow to soak in from a few moments to several minutes.
    - Very heavy pollution: 1:1 to 1:3
    - Heavy pollution: 1:3 to 1:5
    - Medium pollution: 1:5 to 1:20
    - Light pollution: 1:20 to 1:50
